A new amazing humanoid robot named ROPID was created by Tomotaka Takahashi of ROBO GARAGE Co.,Ltd.
This adorable 38 cm tall robot can jump 8cm off the floor.
He walks, runs, gets up by himself.
ROPID also responds to voice commands.
It is so cute that ROPID always looks at the commander’s eyes when he listens.
In the video below, you can see how he responds to voice commands, but first, since it’s in Japanese, let me tell you what’s going on in the video.
When the commanderr asks “What’s your name?”, ROPID points himself and says “ROPID”.
He walks around and say “Thank you” and quickly looks at the commander again.
Each time when the commander says “Start!”, ROPID nods and jumps or runs, shows his ability. (After the second “Start!” command, he looks at the camera and get frozen little bit like he’s nervous or something.)
