In the Jigokudani Monkey Park (Jigokudani Yaen Koen) in [W:Nagano Prefecture], there are about 200 wild Japanese snow monkeys.

During a winter, they come to the open-air bath to warm up their bodies!

Just like humans do, they soak themselves in the bath relaxed, and grooming each others while some are snoozing…

The bath is part of the Joshinetsu Kogen National Park, and is located in the valley of the Yokoyu-River.

Even though it’s in a snowy mountain, many foreign tourists visit there to see the monkeys in the bath.
