Natto is fermented soybeans.

It’s very very sticky and has strong smell, typically eaten for breakfast in Japan.

It’s a Japanese traditional food; it’s said that the history dates back to Yayoi era (300BC to 500AD).

Natto is a nutritious food; it is a good source of protein, rich in vitamin K2 and vitamin B2, good for health and beauty.

Natto is commonly eaten uncooked, with rice. Usually seasoned with soy sauce and karashi mustard.

Also green onion, egg york, sesame, green shiso (Perilla frutescens) are good with natto.

There is “no-stink natto” for the people who care their breath after eating natto!!
