What do you think about boys wearing make-up and dressed in girls’ outfits? I think it’s OK as long as they are kawaii 😉 There is a unique maid cafe called “NEWTYPE” in Akihabara. Maids in maid cafes are usually female, but here you can see many beautiful boy maids. Look at the photos below. These maids are all boys. Wow (@o@)!
This unique maid cafe is going to provide make-up lessons called “NT Make-Up Lecture Club” for boys.
There are many boys who want to cosplay (or just become) like girls, but sometimes they don’t know how. Such boys can learn about technical terms for make-up, skin care, choosing (and using) cosmetics and tools etc. from professional make-up artists.
Sounds interesting! Not only beginners, but also those who are used to make-up can enjoy these lessons (^^).
*Pre-Lesson : Aug. 19 (Fri) 19:30-21:30 / ¥1,000 (US$13) >> Participants can go buy cosmetics with instructor’s help.
*Main Lessons: Every Friday in Sept. 19:30-21:30 (total 5 times) / ¥29,900 (US$389)
Around 15 participants are estimated to attend this time, but I expect it will be bigger and more popular eventually 😀
