Prison-Hospital Themed Restaurant “Alcatraz E.R.”

Alcatraz E.R. is the craziest izakaya (Japanese style bar/pub) restaurant in Shibuya. It is themed prison-hospital, and filled with “psychopathic” atmosphere.

In the “prison-hospital,” there are X-ray room, operation room, ICU, neurosurgery room, and mortuary. Not only are the waitresses in sexy nurse costumes, the cooks are in operation gowns. There are also mad doctors and crazy prisoner, so you never know what’s going to happen there!

While the food menu does not seem so strange, drink menu is pretty eccentric; drinking out of a beaker or a mannequin head is something that you can’t do at regular izakaya. They even have sexual themed drinks. Don’t worry, common drinks and health boost cocktails are also available.

The desserts menu includes crème brulee, chocolate-banana-cream crepe and electrical parfait (photo below), which has small fireworks on.
