The 33rd Chitose Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival opened this morning in Chitose, [W:Hokkaido].
Ice sculptures made by sprinkling water from lake are all differently formed.
The visitors can get in some big ice structures, and see beautiful ice chandleries.
The ice sculptures are especially beautiful when they are illuminated at night.
In this visionary ice world, one lucky couple can have wedding!
There is a chapel in the middle of the site, and the couple can get married in front of everyone.
Besides the ice exhibition, there are a lot of attractions during the festival such as games, fire works and Japanese drum performances.
This festival goes on till the Valentine’s day (February 14), so there will be many couples visit there and melt the ice (^_^)
