Super Realistic Man-Made Butterfly Flying

It just looks so real… Please check this video.

This butterfly was exhibited by TENYO at International Tokyo Toy Show 2010 held last weekend.

According to a description, the butterfly reacts to sounds (the video has no sound because it is slow motion though), and it is operated by batteries set in the lid of the jar. So it only flies in the jar.

The price is 3,000 yen (US$35).

TENYO is the company that sells the floating globe, which I previously introduced in this blog (“Floating Globe without Supported”).

I wonder how it works.
