It is a festival held in remembrance of virtue of Hieda No Arei (primarily known for being instrumental to the compilation of the Japanese text Kojiki in 712) at Meta Shrine (in Yamatokoriyama city) annually on August 16.
About 50 local children dance ‘Arei Ondo dance’.
