A Little Unique Outdoor Fan in Japan

July is almost over and Japan is in midsummer. We are hit by a 35 degree-centigrade heat wave. No wonder I have been thinking it’s hotter this summer.

I go to work by bicycle. It takes about 30 minutes from my home in Shinjuku to my office in Aoyama (which is near Shibuya). This makes me really sweaty, so as soon as I get to the office, I have to change my shirt… but it is out of the topic LOL.

The most common summer musts are air conditioner and fan!

Let me introduce a unique blog about an electric fan I read.

First, look at the following picture.

It looks an event site. There is a big electric fan.

It is not just a big fan. There are mist-nozzles on the surface.
The blogger said it emits mist along with air, and it is so cool and refreshing.

On the back side, it was printed its name “Ryota.”
The kanji, “ryo” means “cool,” which is perfect for this fan (^_^)

The light green thing must be a water tank. To make a space like that really cooler, they may need several of the fans…
