Enjoy Mt. Fuji and the Lake by Amphibious Bus

Fuji Five Lakes, the area located at the base of Mt. Fuji is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Japan. Around the area, you can enjoy hiking and fishing, and there are hot springs, museums, golf courses, amusement parks to attract the tourists.

Since the end of April, 2011, a new way to enjoy the great nature around Mt. Fuji has been presented by Fujikyu. It is an amphibious bus tour called YAMANAKAKO NO KABA. Kaba is hippo in English. You can see a cute hippo painted on the bus.

Just like other amphibious bus, it drives on lands and directly goes into water. So you can have an extraordinary experience, and see the Japanese highest mountain very closely at the same time! The bus takes the tourists to the forest area at the base of the mountain and one of the Fuji Five Lakes, Lake Yamanaka. “Mt. Fuji and the Lake”
