“Nothing can be as relief as the feeling that someone protects and guides me”

Today’s story teller is a former governor of Chiba Prefecture in Japan, [W:Domoto Akiko].

The story was about a black and white stone she always carries on her.

She got the hand sized stone in [W:Mount Kailash] in Tibet, where she visited 25 years ago for a TV work.

Since she was young, she had longed to visit Tibet.

She studied about the country at university, and long years later, she finally achieved the dream.

Having paid a visit to a temple, she was walking around outside.

After a while, a man with an unpleasant look in his eyes approached her, and she found the man was a robber because he was standing by her when she made a donation at the temple.

“Help!”

She shouted but her voice couldn’t carry to anyone; she prepared for the worst…

But suddenly out of nowhere, a woman carrying a basket on her back came between the man and Domoto, and the man reluctantly ran away.

The black and white stone was what Domoto was holding at the moment.

It is said that the pilgrims who visit the temple often take a lot of stones back.

Domoto’s word

“Mount Kailash led me there and saved me from a desperate situation. Nothing can be as relief as the feeling that someone protects and guides me in my life.”

Whenever she has painful or anxiety feeling, she holds the black and white stone so that her mind mysteriously calms down.
